Information about the service

Telstra will be switching off 3G in 2024. Before switch off, you can use handsets supporting 3G on 850MHz and 4G minimally on 700MHz and 1800MHz. See telstra.com/device for more information. After switch off you will still be able to access the Telstra Mobile Network provided your device is 4G voice enabled and 4G 700MHz compatible. Find out more: tel.st/goodbye3G

No Excess Data Charges In Australia

Once you exceed your included data allowance, your speed will be capped at 1.5Mbps, and slowed further in busy periods. This means it is not suitable for HD video or high speed applications and means that some webpages, videos, social media content and files may take longer to load, but you can still stream video in standard definition, listen to music, browse the web and access social media, even if the experience is slower sometimes. Heavy data users (users in the top 1% of all data users) may experience slower speeds than other users during busy periods.

Accessory Repayment Options

You can choose to repay the cost of eligible accessories over a fixed period of time. This applies to accessories with a cost of $120 or more and can be paid over a 12 month period. The charge for accessories will appear as a separate line item on your bill. There are 4 tiers available and if the total value of the accessory is more than one of these tiers, you’ll need to pay the difference upfront. If you cancel your accessory repayment early or cancel your service(s), your accessory repayment will also terminate and you will be required to pay out the remainder of your accessory repayments.

What happens if I cancel my plan early?

You'll need to pay out any remaining device and accessory payments.

If you receive a monthly credit and cancel your Plan or Device Payment Contract early, you will lose your credit and must pay the balance of any remaining device repayments on your next bill.

Changes to your plan

From time to time we may make changes to your plan or add-ons (including price and inclusions), or we may move you to a new plan (which may cost more).

If we reasonably think that a change is likely to be detrimental to you, we'll tell you at least 30 days before making it.

If you don't like the change you can change or cancel your plan or add-ons and just pay out your device, accessories and services in full.

What happens if I go overseas?

If you are moving your existing service and it currently has International Roaming blocked this will continue to apply on your new Plan, otherwise, International Roaming and International Day Pass are activated by default on your plan. You can deactivate them by calling us on 125 109 from within Australia or +61 439 125 109 outside of Australia free of charge from your Telstra service. For an additional charge per day an International Day Pass lets you make and receive unlimited standard voice calls and SMS and includes 500MB data for use each day (AEST) when travelling in Eligible Roaming Destinations. If you use more than the International Day Pass data allowance, we will automatically add extra data in blocks of 1GB for $10 each.

Calls/SMS/MMS will be charged at international roaming rates (refer to telstra.com/overseas) and mobile data at $3 per MB (charged per KB or part) if you:

How does the Tech Fund work?

Our 24 or 36 month Business Flex Tech Fund Plans come with a device credit to get selected devices from Vodafone at any time throughout your contract. The Tech Fund value (device credit) will depend on which plan you sign up to. When you sign up to multiple Business Flex Plans, the Tech Fund amounts are pooled together as a single amount on your business account with Vodafone.

Minimum monthly spend is per table above plus any applicable device payment. Early exit fee: 50% of Minimum monthly spend x months left on contract. Services subject to device capabilities, network limitations & customer location.

Data All data for use in Australia within the Vodafone Network coverage area. “Your Max Speed” data will be used first; thereafter, data is available at speeds of up to 1.5mbps until your next billing month. Actual speeds you reach will continually vary depending on many factors such as device capabilities, location, network congestion, network coverage and if you are roaming. Fair Use Policy applies.

$5 Roaming Countries subject to change, see current list and full details . Available to eligible customers, see terms for details specific to your plan. $5 Daily Charge is in addition to minimum monthly spend and allows you to use your plan’s inclusions in Eligible Countries for $5 per day. For all plans with an included data allowance, only included data allowance can be accessed while $5 Roaming. Data capped at speeds up to 1.5, 2, 10 or 25Mbps is not accessible while $5 Roaming. Once your included data is exhausted, additional data will be automatically added at a charge of $5/GB ($0.005/MB) (“Additional Roaming Data”). Additional Roaming Data expires at the end of your next billing period, is shareable (excludes plans with unlimited data which do not share data) and can only be used while in $5 Roaming countries. Max 90 days of use in any calendar year. Opt-out at any time, visit My Vodafone or call 1555. All roaming services subject to network availability.

$5 Business Flex Mobile Broadband SIM Only Month to Month Plans 1 month expiry. Available to approved Business Flex customers only. Minimum monthly spend is $5. Recurring monthly access fee charged until the end of the month in which you notify Vodafone you wish to discontinue the service. Plan grants access to use the available Business Flex shared data pool only (including Data Add-Ons, if applicable) – all non-data usage is excluded and will be charged on top of your plan. Shared Data is only accessible within Australia and only on a compatible tablet or Mobile Broadband device. Once shared data pool is exhausted, additional data usage rate is $0.0098/MB within Australia, charged per 1KB. If all Business Flex 24 Month Plans on your account are cancelled, any $5 Business Flex Mobile Broadband SIM Only month to month plans will also automatically be cancelled. Mobile Broadband/tablet device not included - you must bring your own or purchase one from us.

24 month Mobile Broadband Plans Available to approved Business Flex customers only. Minimum monthly spend is $15, $30, $80 (for the $15, $30, $80 plans respectively) plus any device costs. Early exit fee = 50% of Min monthly spend plus any applicable device payment x months left on contract. Any charges for additional or excluded services will still apply. Mobile Broadband Plans shared with any Business Flex Plans are able to access combined data pool (including Data Add-Ons, if applicable). Once shared data pool is exhausted, additional data usage rate is $0.0098/MB within Australia, charged per 1KB. Included data only for use in Australia on Vodafone’s network.

If you exhaust your Zone 2 allowance or you make a call to a country outside the Zone 1 or 2 included countries, you will be charged on top of your minimum monthly spend at our standard international Pay-As-You-Go rates.
